Buying your first home in Vacaville
Buying your first home, with each step explained in plain language.
Your first home, in a town with a lot of choice
Vacaville gives first-time buyers plenty to choose from, and that can be both a help and a source of worry. There are older cottages near downtown, single-story ranch homes, two-story homes in established subdivisions, and newer communities. Most of the housing was built from the 1970s through the 1990s, so there's a broad selection of established homes.
My job is to narrow that choice to the homes that fit you and your budget, and to explain what you're looking at.
Where we begin
We start with a consultation, and then a preapproval with a trusted lender, so you know your purchasing power, your monthly payment and your closing costs. After that I build a search. I'll explain each step as it comes, and I'll answer every question, however basic. My first-time buyer page has more, and the Home Buyer's Guide lists the documents lenders ask for.
A first-time buyer once told me, "We connected with Adriana through Zillow, and we're so glad she's the realtor we ended up working with." If you found me the same way, or any way, start by contacting me or calling (707) 304-6574.
Learning the town as you shop
It helps to see Vacaville before you decide. Spend time downtown, where there are local shops and restaurants, and at Lagoon Valley or the Peña Adobe, where there are trails and open space. Then look at how the neighborhoods differ. I live here and I'm happy to point out what I see. You can read more on the Vacaville page.
