Buying a home in Suisun City

Every step explained, so you know what to expect and why before you sign.

Waterfront, downtown or neighborhood

In Suisun City, a good first question is how close you want to be to the waterfront and downtown. Older properties sit near the historic downtown, and established suburban neighborhoods with single-story and two-story homes sit further out, including Dover Terrace and Heritage Park, where much of the housing dates from the 1970s through the 1990s.

Layout, lot size and updates vary, so two homes on the same street can feel very different once you walk through them.

How I help you buy

We begin with your goals, a preapproval and a search built from your criteria. On tours, we look at condition, layout, location and resale. See how I help you buy a home and the Home Buyer's Guide.

If you don't know the city yet, walk Main Street and the waterfront first, then visit a few neighborhoods. I live in nearby Vacaville and I'm glad to point out what I notice.
